Monster Matthew Hits Haiti

By October 4, 2016February 3rd, 2020No Comments

We are putting adjusters on standby for Hurricane Matthew!

Hurricane Matthew crushed Haiti earlier today and is now moving over Cuba. Catastrophic rains are anticipated for not only Haiti, but the Dominican Republic and Cuba as well. Over the next day or so Matthew will pass through the Bahamas, still as a category 4 storm. By Thursday, Matthew will be closing in on the U.S.

With the forecast models continuing to steer Matthew west as it nears the Southeast coast, the threat to Florida, Georgia, Virginia and the Carolina’s is getting a whole lot more real. While the latest model runs are still in disagreement on the ultimate path for Matthew, U.S. landfall is a very distinct possibility.  The midsection of the Florida coast and eastern North Carolina are looking like the most probable locations at this point.

With the threat posed by hurricane Matthew to the entire Southeast U.S. coast, we expect assignment requests from our clients to begin shortly. We will be have positions for both inside and field adjusters for auto, residential & commercial property and marine claims. We will also have a need for qualified claims examiners.

If you are on our roster and have not yet committed to standby, please contact your dispatcher as soon as possible! If you are not on our roster, you can complete our application here- https://app.eberls.com/OnBoarding/Onboarding/Application/Index.aspx
