By November 29, 2018February 3rd, 2020No Comments

The Northern California Camp Fire is now the deadliest and most destructive in the state’s history. Nearly 200 are still missing and 88 have been confirmed dead, but thankfully the fire has reached 100% containment. According to the latest data from CoreLogic, total losses from the Camp Fire are estimated at $11-13 billion, while the Woolsey Fire in Southern California has estimated losses of $4-6 billion.

Residential loss estimates from the Camp Fire account for about $8-9 billion and $3.5-5.5 for the Woolsey Fire. More details are available here- https://www.propertycasualty360.com/2018/11/29/historic-wildfires-in-california-estimated-to-cost/

We extend our gratitude to all the adjusters on the front-lines assisting those affected by the fires. Helping others during times of great need is a special point of pride in our profession. While we rarely make headlines, nor are we featured on any front pages, we are an integral part of the recovery efforts after these tragic natural disasters. Your hard work and diligence are remarkable and indeed appreciated!
